shipping & delivery

While Dart World Australia takes extra care in order to ensure that customer receive their orders promptly, there are certain aspects that come into play and as such can have an effect on the deliveries being despatched and received.

  • Any orders placed outside of normal business hours or over the weekend will be addressed at the start of business, the next working day.
  • Orders are usually compiled and despatched within 48 hours, however this cannot always be guaranteed. In the event of a delay we will email you to notify you of the situation.
  • Parcels are sent via Australia Post. Delivery time frames may vary depending on delivery location. Please note that the time frames specified below are in addition to the 48 hrs we need to prepare your order for despatch.
  • Regular Post: 3-5 working days. WA and NT are 5-7 working days.
  • Express Post: 2-3 working days providing you are in the express mail areas.
  • Item sent by Registered Mail usually result in the Courier leaving a card in your mail box, requesting you to attend the local post office and obtain the package.
  • Dart world Australia understands that we have an obligation to ensure that you receive your orders and whilst Australia Post are very efficient, we cannot guarantee that a situation may arise whereby a parcel gets lost in transit. In the event that this should be lost, or damaged, be assured that the problem will be rectified asap.

postage handling

Postage costs calculations are obtained directly from Australia Post and are charged per item. As a result, some orders with multiple items may experience a higher postage cost than otherwise expected. Unfortunately Dart World Australia has no control over the postage calculations sent to us by Australia Post, however please feel free to contact us directly should you have any concerns.

NOTE: All orders are sent via registered post at an additional handling fee of $3.00.

If you are ordering large items such as Dartboards, Surrounds, etc. Please email us or simply contact us direct for a postage quote.

returns policy

Any items that are to be returned for a refund or exchange must be returned within 10 working days of receipt of goods. All returns must have a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN). To obtain a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) contact us via email, post or telephone and provide a detailed explanation for your returns/refund/exchange. We will then contact you with the outcome of your request, which then you will receive a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) if your request has been approved. Please ensure that within the returns package you include;

1. Invoice number and Invoice date
2. An approved Returns Authorisation Number
3. A copy of your reason for return
4. Original packaging

Returns or exchange of goods will not be accepted or honoured if the items have been used or defaced in any way. All returned darts will incur a AUD$5.00 re-stocking fee and all other items will incur a 20% re-stocking fee. In the event of a refund, which has been approved and accepted, you may opt to receive either a store credit to the value of returned goods or a refund of returned goods by Cheque. DART WORLD AUSTRALIA will not be held responsible for returned goods lost or damaged whilst in transit. Potentially this could alter the outcome of your returns request, so we strongly recommend that you send returns goods via registered or insured postage. Please note: We do not under any circumstances accept or approve any returns/refunds or exchanges for the wrong decision of product choice.

orders & payment

Placing an Order:
You can order our dart products through the Dart World Australia Shopping Cart or if preferred, you can choose to place your order by email or phone.

Dart World Australia provides several payment options as described below:

1. Cheque
2. Direct Deposit
3. Cash
4. Money Order

Goods being paid for by cheque, money order or by direct deposit will not be despatched until the cheque, money order or direct deposit payment has been finalised.


Once you have ordered your products you will receive a confirmation email itemising all charges and fees associated with your purchase. This will include the total cost of your purchase as well as the shipping and GST amounts that are applicable.

Payment should then be made by your selected payment option (ie: direct deposit etc). If paying by cheque or money order please enclose a copy of your invoice along with your payment.

Once your payment has been finalised Dart World Australia will advise you (either by email or phone) that your order has been despatched.

Out of Stock Items:
In the event that the items you have ordered are out of stock, you will be notified via email and/or telephone. Your ordered items will be placed automatically on backorder unless a request for exchange has been received.

International Buyer Information:
As an overseas customer you are more than welcome to order and purchase goods from us; however our shipping rates are only calculated for mainland Australia. We ask and advise that you contact us via email with your shipping address prior to proceeding to the checkout for a postage & handling quote. Also to state any large items i.e. dartboards, surrounds, etc you plan on purchasing. By doing this your co-operation helps us greatly and helps ensure our quality service to you and all our other customers. Please Note: that any overseas order that is placed will not be processed until an enquiry email regarding an overseas postage quote has been received. Your co-operation is highly appreciated.
